Today I am very excited to be reviewing two polishes from the Essence Colour & Go Quick Drying Nail Polish Spring/Summer 2012 line! The colors I received are Walking on Air, which is a beautiful blue creme that is lighter than navy blue but darker than royal blue, and Glamorous Life which is a bright raspberry colored polish with a beautiful shimmer.
Above is Walking on Air after 1 coat. It applies very smooth and the wide brush that is provided with the bottle makes it very easy to paint it on your nails.
The three pictures above Walking on Air at two coats. The two pictures of the polish on the top show it in natural light, and the picture on the bottom shows it with camera flash. Overall I love this color! It is going on the list for one of the best blue creme colored polishes that I own! It goes on so smooth and even and after two coats it was completely opaque!
Above is Glamorous Life after one coat of polish. It goes on very smooth and was not streaky at all!
This polish also is very fast drying and shiny on its own. I did not put any top coat on either color and they both were beautiful and glossy on their own. Another thing that I really love about the bottles is that they have color coded caps. The cap is the same color as the polish in the bottle and I think that makes it so much easier to find in my large dark case of nail polish.
I am really impressed with these two polishes and I definitely will be buying more Essence nail polish very soon! These bottles retail for $.99 at ULTA, HEB, and Fred Meyer stores. Essence also sells other cosmetics that range in price from $.99 - $3.99. Their goal is to be a high quality and on- trend brand for incredibly low prices, and I definitely think that they have achieved that with these polishes.
